I'm in involved in a family law case and just got the judgement in the matter. Other party has filed an appeal and with that appeal they have attached some documents which were never presented to the trial court. These are completely fabricated documents.

The appeal is pending in Uttrakhand High Court. I would like to to know if there is any law/rule/evidence code which restricts a party from introducing new evidence at the time of appeal.
