We are residents of a 1st floor flat in DDA's SFS Society in Pira Garhi. The resident at the ground floor has erected a temporary structure in the verandah rendering the residents on 1st floor, vulnerable to theft and burglary besides unhygienic living conditions.
We made a submission to Coordinating Officer, Nodal Steering Committee, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi in June 2009.
We have not received any response to our submission to the Committee, for relief, so far.
May u kindly suggest / advise the next course of action. Will assist the residents (old aged couple) for a peaceful habitation

Send a RTI application to the authority and seek the status of your complaint and action taken thereon. They will definitely take action.
Can a ground floor owner develop a garden in the free space infront of his flat in MIG DDA FLATS?

Hi, I Own A DDA MIG Flat on the ground floor.And there is free space in front of my flat that was previously used for planting trees.The society management body allowed a School which is just adjacent to the boundary of the DDA Campus from our Flat side to cement a wall on the boundary from our campus side.But in the process they cut down the tress and and made the free space dirty and unconducive to living environment.Also the society governing body stacked all the trees and plants cut from the campus in that free space outside our flat.That made it look even worse like garbage dumping ground.Further people dumped garbage in that space all the time.After 9 long months it was cleaned but only partially.So i decided to make a fenced garden there so that the place remains green and Conducive to living environment.But the society governing body wants to use that space for some public avtivity like they want to contruct a temple there,or a badminton court or a gym.This will be highly inconvenient as i have a family and different people will come there all the time and there will be shouting and public activity there all the time which is also not Safe for a people.As this free space is infront of my flat i will be affected most by all these activites.
Can you Please tell me what can be done and what are the rules governing these free spaces?Where should i address this issue?Can people whose Flats are not nearby to that space take a decision on using that free space?
